His passion for Tibetan Buddhism brought Otto C. Honegger into the mountain range of the Himalayas. In 2003, 50 years after the successful climb of Hillary and Tenzing, he led a Swiss film team on a memorial expedition to the Mount Everest. Ever since, he has been on many successful mountain assignments in the Swiss Alps and in the Himalayas.
